Do you want to get the most out of your social media posts? The attract stage is the element with the potential to draw people in.

Social media is a great way to share the content to begin this process. To be successful on social media your content must be helpful, enjoyable and sharable. If your content can solve a customer's problem or answer their questions it will be even more engaging.

So how can you get the most out of social media when trying to engage your customer and prospects?

Headlines

Headlines are a key element in engagement. A headline that clearly describes the content, provokes emotion and draws attention will be more successful in the attraction process. CoSchedule’s headline analyser is a useful tool when creating your headlines.

You can also benefit from adding value to the post. For example; “6 tips to…….”. This method also makes the content easier to read and appears less time consuming to the user.

Hashtags

Hashtags are a great way to follow and engage with others. It's great to use trending or specific hashtags. It helps users find your content when searching social media sites such as Twitter.

Are you are unsure of which hashtags to use for your business? Doing some research or using hashtag assisting apps can help you make the right choices.  Just don’t forget to add them to your posts!

Influencers

Influencers are a top secret strategy to get your word out quickly.

Using influencers or ambassadors is perfect for people wanting to get their business and content out there.

Sharing your content with their larger following will help broaden your own. This could be through writing blogs about your business or via social media posts.

It is also possible to bring like-minded brands together. Friendly sharing of a database can be mutually beneficial.

Newsjacking

Take advantage of what is being most googled with newsjacking. This is a sneaky method to get your content's attention. Google trends can help you find topical events locally or around the world.

By engaging with these topics you can be a part of the current popular conversation.

Workflow of the Week

This week’s workflow recognises the last time a user visited your website. It will take note when they have not returned for 90-120 days or 120-150 days.

Using engaging and inviting content they are welcomed back to the website. You can use content that has already been successful and proves useful to the person.
